About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Flight Dynamics Engineer to develop advanced simulations and design a groundbreaking spacecraft constellation. This role will involve designing the largest spacecraft constellation ever, tackling challenges unique to our mission. The constellation will face perturbations that most spacecraft do not, offering exciting new dynamics and opportunities to innovate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build our primary constellation simulation.
• Design the largest spacecraft constellation in history.
• Analyze and optimize constellation and orbit performance through multi-dimensional optimizations.
• Provide insights and feedback on constellation dynamics to improve overall system performance.

Ideal Qualifications

• Strong enthusiasm and expertise in physics simulations.
• Deep understanding and experience in orbital dynamics, particularly with novel challenges in this area.
• Knowledge and experience with spacecraft GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) systems.
• Proven track record in developing and refining complex simulations that are well-correlated with real-world data.
