Job Details The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for a comprehensive range of planning, forecasting, and analytical tasks. This includes creating financial models, integrating validated assumptions, and ensuring the integrity of data and information. The Senior Analyst supports the sales team and other partners by providing crucial decision support for the business.
Duties:
Develops the annual divisional plans by integrating validated assumptions and assists in preparing related presentations and deliverables for senior leadership.
Constructs forecast models based on key drivers, trend analysis, and external economic factors; monitors the accuracy and reliability of existing models.
Analyzes monthly and quarterly operating results against budgeted targets and prior year results to understand variances across divisions.
Continuously improves accuracy by aligning with key drivers and identifying the root causes of variances.
Creates and assists in developing P&L statements for new items, account performance, and pricing.
Helps develop analytical tools and models to drive revenue and expense management and improve processes.
Produces and distributes regular and ad hoc management reports.
Assists in preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and presentations for senior management.
Maintains and updates P&L templates as needed.
Audits approved requests selectively for accuracy.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
2-3 years of experience in FP&A or Accounting.
Experience using data analytics to drive company growth, increase revenue, or achieve other key business outcomes.
Preferred experience in manufacturing finance and accounting.
