The Position

As Senior Filling/Packaging Mechanic you are responsible for the setup and maintenance of automated filling and packaging equipment to ensure optimum operation and uptime. In addition, you as Senior Filling/Packaging Mechanic must be able to effectively troubleshoot equipment independently and you are performing equipment changeovers to accommodate production runs as dictated by production demand.
Shift: 12x3 Mon-Wed 6PM-7AM.
The Opportunity
* You are documenting and performing both planned and unplanned maintenance/repairs on equipment as directed by Supervisor.
* You are supporting Engineering in new equipment purchases and equipment upgrades by providing expertise in overall mechanical equipment functionality, automation and controls. Supports execution of tests for equipment acceptance (e.g. factory acceptance tests).
* You read and follow equipment operating procedures and equipment manuals as needed.
* You also support the Equipment Qualification group in equipment qualification activities (e.g. equipment setup, parameter changes, etc).
* You are able to complete tasks independently, as well as any other duty assigned by your leadership.
Who you are
* You hold a High School Diploma or GED.
* 6+ years of experience with setup, operation, and maintenance of filling/packaging equipment in a GMP manufacturing environment.
* An equivalent combination of education and work experience is acceptable.
Preferred Requirements
* You hold technical/trade school specializing in electrical or mechanical systems.
The expected salary range for this position based on Branchburg, NJ is $46,500.00 - 86,300.00/year. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
