Senior Audio Video Installation Technician wanted for Central Ohio Audio Video, a company based in Columbus, Ohio. We are a professional business to business audio visual installation company. We are looking for a FULL TIME Senior Audio & Video Technician to join our team and grow with our company. We offer our employees competitive wages and incentives. We install LCD’s, projectors, video wall, control system, mics, speakers, and live stream solutions. Since most of the equipment we install is completed at customer's locations, all applicants must be self-motivated on a regular basis. We look forward to talking with you.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must have a driver's license in good standing.

• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

• Interested in learning new skills and technologies.

• Take pride in work.

• Have the ability to inspect, troubleshoot, test, and correct work if needed.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in the operation and use of hand and power tools.

• Physical ability to walk, crawl and work in difficult positions.

• Must be comfortable on ladders.

• Cable pull and terminations of twisted pair, CAT5/6, Fiber and Coax, DTP and XTP cable including Terminate wire to plates and panels.

• Great soldering skills for audio connectors including XLR's, RCA and TRS style connectors.

• Planning and build-up of AV racks to the highest standard. Lace, terminate and label rack wiring into equipment racks.

• Ensure that all cabling is labeled properly and accurately.

• Structural mounting and rigging of AV equipment including video displays and screens, projectors, loudspeakers clusters, cameras, racks and cable trays.

• Take care of company tool and equipment maintenance, including controlling and safekeeping of all equipment, in the shop and on the job sites

• Must have a good DMV record so the qualified candidate can be covered by the company's auto insurance carrier.

• Be available to work Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Negotiable and based upon experience

Supplemental pay types:

• working with Power Tools: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
