Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Transactional Attorney to join our team in Glastonbury, CT. This on-site role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents for a wide range of commercial transactions. Our clients include small to medium-sized businesses, financial institutions, and state agencies. Experience working with transactions involving state agency grant or loan funding is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contracts and related transactional documents
• Advise clients on a variety of commercial legal matters
• Manage and maintain client relationships
• Oversee and delegate work to legal assistants

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience practicing transactional law
• Strong background in commercial transactions
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Highly organized and deadline-driven
• Personable, driven, and skilled at client relationship management
• Leadership abilities with experience delegating to support staff
• Must be admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut
• No existing book of business required
• Must be willing to relocate to the Hartford, CT area
