We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. This position will play a critical role in the organization's financial management. The Sr. Accountant , under the direction of the President, will oversee all aspects of Income Statement, Balance sheet, and cash flow. You will work alongside our parent company's accounting team to learn company accounting policies and procedures. The senior accountant will also collaborate with the parent company team to analyze financial performance, ,develop budget plans, and offer insights and financial advice to enable the best business decisions for the company. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
  • Responsible for the timely preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statement and reporting.
  • Conduct monthly review of all financial activities, identify, and resolve accounting discrepancies, reconcile intercompany accounts, etc.
  • Prepare monthly adjusting journal entries, for the balance sheet and income statement.
  • Manage all operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, revenue recognition, inventory accounting and fixed assets.
  • Report and input quarterly financial statement data to the parent Company's consolidation accounting system.
  • Coordinate external audit and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
  • Work with the outside CPA firm and Professional Employer Organization to file accurate and timely tax returns.
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor company's cash flow movement and ensure proper funding communication to the President.
  • Introduce and manage a new inventory management system with assistance from the President
  • Review credit limits, and process/approve credit applications for new customers based on the company's Risk Management policy.
  • Supervise the accounting team by reviewing daily entries and activities to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
  • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to management team

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting or other related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge o QuickBooks & Microsoft Office tools (Excel proficiency is a must)
  • Experience with Financial Statement preparation and forecasting.
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
