Responsibilities:

• Know how to repair/operate specific equipment including trucks up to class 8, trailers, dual lane trailers, line trailers, forklifts and pickups.
• Running diagnostics on different trucks and equipment.
• Regular inspections, repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Complete any repairs that are needed such as repairing worn-out parts, etc.
• Daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Removes unsafe equipment from service and make appropriate repair(s) to return equipment to service.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• 5+ years mechanic experience 
• CDL preferred.
• Must own their own tools.
• Knowledge in the repairs semi-trucks/trailers
• Strong knowledge in hydraulics and electrical systems
• Experience working with air brakes and fuel systems. 
• Knowledge of DOT inspection on trucks and trailers.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to repair trucks and trailers.
• Ability to read repair manuals, electrical schematics and hydraulic schematics. 
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent mechanical repair skills
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to operate a computer and keep thorough records of repairs/inspections.
