As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time in Point Comfort, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a chemical and petrochemical environment, you will play an essential role in helping to maintain a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the location, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within a chemical or petrochemical facility.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, maintaining a log of all access as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment and uphold client expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Have customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
