The Mint Dispensary was founded in Arizona in 2016 as a patient-centric, affordable, vertically integrated, state-licensed medical cannabis dispensary. The Mint’s commitment to its core values, patients, and community resulted in the exponential growth of its retail brand. This led to the successful opening of its second Arizona commercial indoor medical marijuana cultivation facility in 2018, where we proved that we are capable of being leaders in the cannabis industry.

Due to our consistent delivery of quality products, The Mint has continued to see a boom in growth, with six thriving locations in Arizona, seven Michigan locations in Missouri, and over ten brand-new stores in Florida. We want to expand our dedicated team to continue promoting our growth and business needs!

Full Job Description

Mint Cannabis is seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by observing and reporting activities and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol Duties:
  • Regular patrols of the premises are conducted to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or breaches in security.
• Access Control:
  • Provides and implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems.
• Incident Response:
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and provide first aid if necessary.
• Enforcement:
  • Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company
  • Valid Identification
• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in security 
• Physical Requirments:
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to walk and stand during the duration of your shift

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule: Days/ Evenings/Over Nights

Location: Onsite; Tampa, FL
Hours : 15-20 hours a week & OnCall Opportunities

Salary :  $16.00
