Dewberry is seeking Security Escorts . The Security Escort is responsible for performing access control screening functions of employees and visitors for client site. Escort uncleared personnel throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Escort uncleared personnel throughout the facility.
• Verify the reregistration status of all visitors. Get personnel registered and badged into the facility.
• Work with facility to allowed uncleared workers access as needed, or redirect uncleared personnel to another area as needed.
• Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.
• Required to interact and escort as required with public and government personnel.
• Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees, VIPs, and the general public.
• Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Respond and assist medical, fire department, law enforcement, and other personnel at the direction of supervisors Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Required Experience:

• Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
• Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred.
• Successfully completed all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license.
• Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.
• Must be able to stand up to five hours at a time.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Ability to carry out written and oral directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to maintain favorable public relations.
• Access control experience preferred.
