Job Description

This is a 12 month contract with united health care. 100% remote. All visa = No H1B. Only EST candidates.

Must be experienced 5+ years as scrum master who can hold teams accountable without alienating team members.


Candidate must be very articulate and able to tell a story.

Job Summary:


Seeking a Scrum Master with experience in healthcare insurance to lead our Agile team in delivering high-quality software solutions. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating and leading the Scrum framework in our healthcare insurance team, while working closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that business objectives are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and lead the Scrum framework in the healthcare insurance team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners to identify and prioritize project goals, user stories, and product backlog items.
  • Work with developers to ensure that product backlog items are clearly understood, and that the team is able to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to Agile principles and Scrum values, and continuously improve the team's performance.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the team's ability to deliver value.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Healthcare, or Business Administration.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
