*Job Summary*
As a Scribe, you'll work closely with a physician during consultations, documenting information for precision. You'll capture patient background, concerns, examination details, and arrange x-rays. Document results of tests and communicate with departments regarding orders, radiology, and results. You may also assist with patient care under guidance of medical staff.
- What You'll Do*
- Accurately document patient interaction in healthcare provider's exam room. Include physical exam details and procedures.
- Recording patient information: primary complaint, current illness history, bodily systems review, medical history, lifestyle habits, family history, risk factors, medications, allergies.
- Patient orders are transcribed and managed, including laboratory tests, imaging, medications, and referrals. Orders are executed as per provider instructions, with status checked regularly.
- Assisting with patient care responsibilities within the department, as and when required.
- What Will Make You Successful In The Role*
- Having a certification as a Medical Assistant would be beneficial.
- Understanding of medical vocabulary is crucial.
- Awareness and understanding of laws related to healthcare patient privacy, such as HIPPA.
- Advanced skills in computer applications.
- Highly efficient communication skills, both in speaking and writing, combined with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional focus on details.
- Exemplary patient interaction skills, making patients feel comfortable and cared for.
- Good at organizing, with an emphasis on monitoring patient care and enhancing patient flow.

- Qualifications*
- High school or equivalent education.
- Experience not required, but<5 Less than one year experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
