Van Pool Transportation LLC A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver. Being a School Van Driver for Van Pool Transportation gives you the pay you deserve and the benefits you need. Requirements include being age 21+ with a driver's license for 3+ consecutive years, a satisfactory driving record, ability to pass background checks (CORI & SORI), effective communication in English, and a school pupil transport license (7D certificate) which the company helps to obtain. Duties include safely operating motor vehicles in accordance with state and federal laws, assisting students as needed including securing them in car seats and booster seats, and communicating effectively with students, parents, teachers, and staff. Van Pool Transportation partners with school districts to provide superior service and expertise in transporting special needs students.
