School District Teacher’s Aide/Paraprofessional (Special Education) We are looking for short-term, long term part-time, and full-time Teaching Assistants to work with school districts. Zen Educate is looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to children’s educational journey and their communities. Teaching aides will support licensed teachers in the classroom and gain invaluable experience. Key Duties: Assisting the classroom teacher Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material Assist in compiling classroom communications Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning Maintaining a safe learning environment Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed Must be comfortable with personal care (toileting, etc). Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or the equivalent or Two years of college (48 units), or A. A. degree (or higher), or Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction Preferred Requirements: Bachelors Degree or higher ParaPro Certification or similar Past work experience in a school Experience working with children with special educational needs Additional Requirements: Additional requirements include US Work Authorization.
