Salon Receptionist

Position: Front of House Receptionist
Location: Washington, DC
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Starting Pay:$17.10 per hour (DC minimum wage)
Potential Pay Increase: Up to $18-20 per hour over time

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon’s booking system
- Handle client inquiries and provide information about salon services
- Assist with retail product sales and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
- Support stylists with client flow and coordination
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns in a timely manner

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a customer service or receptionist role is a plus
- Passion for the beauty industry and a positive attitude
