**Sales Merchandiser**

**Oberweis Dairy Sales Merchandiser Job Description:**
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Oberweis Sales Merchandiser will follow the schedule the Merchandising Manager planned for him/her, which includes driving to each store in the order directed by the Merchandising Manager and servicing each store, as requested.
* Builds and maintains positive customer relationships with Store Dairy Managers and Store Frozen Food Managers.
* Completes accurate Daily Call Reports and submits via email by 8:00AM CST the following work day.
* Submits a tally of weekly hours and weekly expense reports by 7PM CST every Sunday to the Merchandising Manager.
* Submits pictures of exceptional in-store displays. Interface with Dairy and Frozen Managers to secure display cases.
* Responds to a Managers requests via text, email or phone within 24 hours during the work week.
* Oberweis Dairy company emails must be checked first thing in the morning daily.
* Maintains a friendly, assertive, positive attitude, while at a store, to promote Oberweis Dairy and our Distribution partners.
* Be proactive when problems and issues arise in a store. Resolve, if able, while in the store and contact and inform your Manager, as soon as possible. If the store is serviced through a distributor partner, encourage the store to reach out to the distributor with issues they are having. All communication regarding store issues should go through your respective Manager.
* Attends and actively participates in all mandatory Sales Merchandiser meetings.
**Job Requirements:**
* Must be able to lift 40 lb. crates of glass-bottled milk, juice and egg nog
* Must walk into and access each store, all store backrooms, all store coolers, which are refrigerated at 33 38 degrees, all store freezers, all store freight elevators and all store aisles.
* Must be able to lift and maneuver cases of frozen ice cream pints and quarts, while working in a store freezer.
* A Sales Merchandiser is approximately 75% standing, walking, lifting and stocking in stores. In addition, approximately 20% driving between stores and 5% reporting.
* Must have a working, fully-insured car and be able to drive to each store in the Merchandisers territory.
* Must have a working computer and be able to access excel.
* Must have a working cell phone to be able to communicate with his/her Merchandising Manager while servicing stores.
* Must be able to stock store shelves, store bunkers and store displays. This includes bending and kneeling to access lower store shelves as well as reaching overhead to upper store shelves.
* May be required to climb a 2-step ladder to access upper display store shelves.
