SALARY RANGE:

$70,000 - $80,000; relocation package available.

HOURS:

8:00am – 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break.

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a motivated Safety Coordinator with 2+ years of Industrial safety experience to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, fostering a strong safety culture, and proactively identifying risks in the workplace. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for assessing workplace environments, conducting inspections, and identifying potential hazards. This role develops and implements safety policies, ensures regulatory compliance, and designs training programs to educate employees on safe practices. The Safety Coordinator partners with management to address safety concerns, lead investigations of accidents or near misses, and develop effective emergency response plans. They also maintain accurate records, track safety performance, and stay informed about emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve safety programs. Overall, this role plays a critical part in promoting and sustaining a strong culture of safety across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of experience in workplace safety.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to conduct safety audits, lead training, and perform incident investigations.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
