🦺 Site Safety Coordinator / Management | Taylor, TX

Samsung Construction Project – New Building

A major construction project in Taylor, TX is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator/Management professional to support safety operations at the new Samsung building. This role is critical to implementing safety policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a safe, proactive culture for all on-site personnel.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety programs & site-specific procedures to meet local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety training sessions (PPE, equipment handling, emergency response).
• Monitor site activities and report unsafe conditions/behaviors.
• Assist with incident investigations, documentation, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate safety records (training logs, inspection reports, incident documentation).
• Collaborate with subcontractors & vendors to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
• Stay up to date on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

🎓 Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in construction or industrial safety.
• OSHA certification required ; additional certifications (First Aid/CPR, CHST, STS) are a plus.
• Strong communication & leadership skills to promote a culture of safety.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
