Job Title: Safety Coordinator

Job Description:

This position is located in Baldwin, IL. Our client currently has a need for a safety coordinator to support the daily construction activities of a 68 MW solar project. This individual will be responsible for:

• Conduct site walk downs
• Perform craft labor safety inspections
• Facilitate site training
• Manage daily reporting
• Update OSHA 300 log (recordable)
• Ensure that safe construction practices are being utilized

Must Have Skills:

• Minimum 4+ years of Experience as safety coordinator on commercial or industrial construction projects
• Ability to be client facing, well spoken, and maintain professional demeanor at all times

Nice To Haves:

• Previous renewable (wind or solar) experience
• OSHA 30, 500, 510, CSP, CHST

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in Baldwin, Illinois

Work Environment

• Site Schedule (hours): M-F: 6:30a-5:00p (10hr days) and Saturday 6:30a-3:00p (8hr day) - they adjust for rain days

Duration

• This position will go through the end of 2024 and could go longer if there are any delays
