Interested in joining our team? Responsible for performing maintenance and installation of oilfield equipment on location. Supervises roustabout hands and provides day to day direction and training. Roustabout duties include building tank batteries wellhead tie-ins, building fences, changing out heaters, cleaning locations, and transporting oilfield equipment. Must be knowledgeable in heaters, separators, general oilfield maintenance, troubleshooting of horizontal batteries, and repair of line leaks. Must have a valid driver's license, have an acceptable driving record, and able to pass a drug test.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise a crew of roustabout laborers
- Prepare daily work tickets summarizing work performed, materials used, costs and charges, etc.
- Safely work in a potentially hazardous environment
- Secure equipment and safely transport according to company policy and DOT regulations
- Install and make repairs to oil and produced water tanks, including confined space entry
- Dig pits and lines
- Install an d make repairs to piping, valves, pumps, and motors
- Install and repair pipelines
- Perform access road upkeep and maintenance
- Clean up oil spills and general clean up
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold a valid driver's license CDL not required
- Two (4) years of experience in the roustabout trade, and one (1) year of supervisory experience highly preferred but not required
- Ability to think critically and strategically
- High level of communication skills (Verbal, written, and electronic)
- Ability to life a min of 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be willing to work rotating weekends
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Perform other duties as needed
- Assist in Providing a safe and hazard-free work environment
