Job Description

Big Daddy Dumpsters is seeking a safety-focused Roll-Off Truck Driver to deliver and remove large containers efficiently and professionally. This role involves operating a commercial truck along designated routes, performing pre-and post-trip inspections, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Daily Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) must be completed to report maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-and post-trip inspections per company policy, ensuring proper tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, and controls
• Safely operate a heavy truck along assigned routes to service customers and transport waste to designated facilities, following route sheets and dispatcher instructions
• Use manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste in compliance with company safety protocols
• Perform minor container repairs on-site or in the yard, tag unsatisfactory waste containers, and monitor for prohibited materials
• Clean up accidental spills, ensuring compliance with all safety standards
• Keep the vehicle in operational condition by regularly monitoring its status and cleaning waste from the container and edges after each disposal
• Accurately complete all required reports, including route sheets, productivity logs, and vehicle condition reports
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a DOT card
• Class B Commercial Driver's license preferred but not required
