Full Time

$26.00-$28.00

1 st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm)

 

Lead Marine is currently looking to hire  Riggers for the Shipyard Industry here in San Diego. This Sheetmetal job will be working  on Naval Bases & Shipyards from 6:00am to 2:30pm and overtime as needed. DBIDs badge in hand is a plus. Qualified candidates please apply now!

 

Responsibilities: 

• Align, level and anchor machinery.
• Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceiling and gin pole bolos using bolts and clamps.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of construction, sheet metal or shipyard experience.
• Must be willing and able to work as a team.
• Candidates will be required to get Naval Base Clearance 
• Must have at least 1-4 years of rigging experience in heavy industrial and/or shipyards
• Understand weights of equipment and rigging tools
• Skilled with power tools
• Mechanically inclined
