Responsibilities •Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
•Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
•Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
•Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations
•Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
Qualifications •Outstanding time management and organizational skills
•Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
•We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
•Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) Pennyflower
