Job Title: Research Nurse - LPN or CNA

Location: Atlanta, GA - Must be comfortable to visit patients in their homes

Type: Contract - Short term

Excellent contract opportunity available for a LPN or CNA, who is interested in clinical research, in the Atlanta, GA area. This will offer a chance to work with a global medical device company, and gain clinical trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Visual Skin Assessment & Draize Scoring, Confirmation of necessary study supplies, Conduct device training with participants
• Instruct participant to complete N-QOL (per treatment schedule or upon treatment discontinuation, whichever comes first), Instruct participant to complete PROMIS Sleep (per treatment schedule or upon treatment discontinuation, whichever comes first)
• Pre-weigh overnight pads and mesh underwear (if applicable), insure participants wear investigational device, measure urine output, post-weigh overnight pads and mesh underwear (if applicable)
• Instruct participant to complete Comfort and Ease of use survey (per treatment schedule or upon treatment discontinuation, whichever comes first)
• Complete End of Study Disposition, instruct participant to complete End of Study Preference Survey (per treatment schedule or upon treatment discontinuation, whichever comes first. Collect and return unused devices, dispose of used study products
• AE and SAE reviews, Device Deficiencies (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Nursing/care experience (LPN/CNA)
• Licensed valid/active
• Technically savvy (iPads/tablet, EDC, file transfer site)
• Availability to make Home visits and calls
• Excellent, effective interpersonal and professional communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
