Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses to to perform duties associated with the medical care and treatment of students with disabilities at a school district in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate must be capable of working with students of a wide range of ages and ability levels.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Texas Board of Nursing
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Expertise in student specific case management plans for acute and chronic health conditions
Responsibilities:
• Implement students’ medical plans as recommended by a medical doctor or medical agency.
• Attend meetings with the multidisciplinary teams and the ARDC to discuss such services.
• Meet regularly with the campus nurse to discuss student medical care and provide daily logs and documentation to the District.
• Follow District nursing standards for eligible students.
• Complete documentation of services and submit prior to billing.
• Provide own transport.
• Other duties as assigned by the administration.
