Job Summary and Qualifications

Collaborate, consult and supervise the management of complex wound, ostomy and continence needs of patients across multiple clinical specialties. Demonstrates clinical expertise through the integration of advanced skills, knowledge and competencies in a self-governing practice Plans, implements, evaluates, delegates and supervises ongoing professional nursing care for assigned patients. Supports families and caregivers' educational, physical and emotional needs across the continuum of care to reduce unanticipated and unexpected outcomes. Provides for staff development and education to all levels of health care providers including outside nursing education programs

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Certification: WOCN National Certification.
• Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent clinical nursing experience with at least 2 years in an acute care setting. 
• Preferred Experience: Board certified WOC nurse with 3 years clinical experience.
