Position Summary

The objective of this position is to perform sales support services to MCC fuel additive customers. These services are primarily calibration of injection systems at fuel terminal locations, twice annually; volumetric additive reconciliation report review, and site surveys. Product transitions may from time to time be a part of the services provided depending upon timing and availability. This employee must fully understand the MCC value proposition, demonstrate a high level of customer service and attention to detail in order to deliver services that meet MCC’s core philosophy.

Weighted Key Accountabilities and Representative Activities

1. Weight –75%. Timely, accurate additive system calibrations and review of volumetric additive reconciliation reports (VARs) at MCC customer terminal locations. This includes completion of necessary paperwork to be filed on site as well as at MCC headquarters in Olathe, KS. Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is a requirement.

2. Weight - 25%. Perform other duties as assigned, which may include product transitions, site surveys, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required to Perform the Position

1. Mechanical aptitude with excellent interpersonal skills.

2. Computer literate in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel and Word.

3. Proficient at communicating to all levels within an organization orally and in writing.

4. Ability to complete necessary work in a neat and organized manner.

5. Team oriented with the ability to work independently and multi-task.

6. Able to travel away from home base Monday through Friday when workload requires.

Principle Outcomes and Other Relevant Information:

• To maintain positive relationship with MCC customers in support of MCC sales department efforts.
• Minimize cost of travel while maximizing efficient use of time at terminal locations.
• Completion of assigned terminal calibrations according to schedule, with adjustments communicated to terminal representatives and MCC Territory Sales Managers.
• Enhancing customer relationships by delivering competent sales support services.
• Develop a thorough understanding of MCC product and service offerings.
• Accurate and timely provision of supporting paperwork.
• Serve as a support resource for existing customers and MCC.
• Conduct business in a professional manner, ethically and honestly.
• Abide by all guidelines as set forth by customers and as specified in the MCC employee handbook.
