Quality Improvement Registered Nurse - Quality Management Department

Work location: Texas Health Southlake, 1545 E Southlake Blvd TX 76092
Work hours: Full Time Days - 8:30am - 5:00pm

Here's What You Need

  • Associate's Degree Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required And
  • Bachelor's Degree BSN Preferred Or
  • Master's Degree health-related field Preferred
  • 3 Years Clinical experience in acute care setting. Required and
  • 1 Year Experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement. Preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
  • CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality 3 Years Preferred
  • High level skills with the following applications: Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, professional manner with various audiences.
  • Understands and appreciates the sensitive and confidential nature of quality, safety and performance improvement activities. Working knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards, performance improvement tools, and data collection and analysis. Ability to collect, interpret, analyze, and present information to help inform organizational operations and decision making. Intermediate
What You Will Do

  • Pursues/achieves/maintains required applicable certification and licensure.
  • Pursues professional growth and development of required knowledge and skills.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement that leads to sustained results and optimal performance.
  • Acquire data from source systems.
  • Use organizational procedures to identify and report patient safety risks and events.
