Purchasing Assistant is responsible for researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts.) They are also keeping any time-sensitive work moving, assembling paperwork for processing purchase orders, and serve as back-up for the Purchasing Lead as needed
