Dedicated to Deaconess Henderson Hospital (DHH): 2 full-time physicians and 1 full-time APP. Outpatient (Pulmonary): Average Patients per half day per Physician: 10-12 APP Support: Available for follow-ups. Inpatient: Midtown Hospital Team: 3 physicians and 2 advanced providers. Floors: 1 physician and 1 APP, averaging 18 patients/day (new consults and follow-ups). ICUs: 2 physicians and 1 APP, averaging 12 patients/physician. Gateway Hospital Team: 3 physicians and 1-2 advanced providers. Floors: 1 physician and 1 APP, averaging 18 patients/day (new consults and follow-ups). ICUs: 2 physicians and 1 APP, averaging 12 patients/physician. Henderson Hospital Weekday Coverage: 1 physician and 1 APP covering ICU, pulmonary consults, and clinic. Weekend Coverage: 1 physician covering ICU and floors. ICU: Average 5-7 patients/day. Floors: Average 5-7 patients/day. ICU Beds: Deaconess Henderson Hospital: 12 Deaconess Main Campus: 50 Deaconess Gateway Campus: 29 The Heart Hospital: 24 (all can be used as either floor rooms or ICU). Note : Pediatric Intensivists cover children in the PICU at Deaconess Gateway Hospital (DGH). Hospital and ICU Admissions: New admissions are typically handled by the primary physician or hospitalists. Most non-ICU patients are consults. Night Call Schedule: Midtown/Gateway (MT/GW): 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM There is one physician and one APP at each campus (Midtown and Gateway). When covering nights, there are no day responsibilities. Day physicians are required to cover nights approximately 1-2 weeks/year. Deaconess Henderson Hospital (DHH): 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Physicians work 7 days on, 7 days off, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and cover call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend Rotation: Midtown/Gateway (MT/GW): 2 physicians and 1 APP per campus during the day, with 1 additional float APP. Deaconess Henderson Hospital (DHH): Physicians work 7 days on, 7 days off. On weekends, work from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and assist at MT/GW in addition to DHH. Night call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Schedule: This position is primarily for Indiana, but could potentially work in Henderson, KY if the need arises. Work 210 shifts minimum/contract year, with weekdays and weekend/holiday rotation.
