Commercial Property Accountant
Baltimore, MD
My client, a privately held commercial real estate development company with properties throughout the Mid Atlantic is hiring a Commercial Property Accountant. This Property Accountant will be responsible for the accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Review leases and leasing activity to ensure accurate billing
Prepare CAM/RE Tax/Insurance/Utility reconciliations as needed per the terms of the lease.
Perform budget and reforecast input and analysis
ssist with quarterly property valuations
Maintaingeneral ledgers
Prepare and process monthly journal entries.
Provide detailed explanation of income statement variances
Establish and maintain relationships with tenants
The ideal candidate for this Property Accountant position will have a BS degree in Accounting, 2+ years of commercial property accounting experience, intermediate Excel skills and YARDI experience.
