Project Manager - (Remote)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager with experience to lead our technical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Springboot Microservices Microservices Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns and Core Java. Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards. . You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Office Location : Irving ,TX or Remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects.
• Oversee project timelines deliverables and resource allocation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
• Ensure the use of best practices in Springboot Microservices and Java Fullstack development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Java Design Patterns and Core Java standards.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members.
• Review and approve project documentation and deliverables.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Springboot Microservices and Microservices.
• Demonstrate expertise in Java Fullstack development.
• Have a deep understanding of Java Design Patterns and Core Java.
• Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus.
• Exhibit excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Show strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is required.

MUST HAVE

PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable !!!

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
