Job Description Lead and oversee all aspects of federal government construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and budgets. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including federal agencies, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other team members to establish project goals, priorities, and expectations. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely project milestones, deliveries, and completion deadlines are met. Implement rigorous project controls, monitoring progress, budget, and quality, and promptly addressing any deviations from the plan. Navigate and remain current with federal procurement regulations, FAR clauses, and other compliance requirements specific to government projects. Manage and review subcontractor contracts, negotiate terms, and oversee their work to ensure alignment with project goals and contractual obligations. Foster strong relationships with federal agency representatives, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving to address concerns and maintain project momentum. Provide accurate and timely project reporting to senior management, highlighting project status, potential risks, and recommended mitigation strategies. Oversee the preparation of project documentation, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information) to ensure accurate record-keeping and facilitate effective communication. Promote a culture of safety on project sites, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
