Project Manager - Civil/Structural
Green River, Wyoming
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and coordination of project development and execution.
- Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule.
- Project team management and development of team members (i.e. maintenance, operations, safety).
- Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution.
- Manage and forecast project costs.
- Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, plant engineering standards and equipment standards.
- Compliance with Process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, applicable codes, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure projects comply with all applicable standards.
- Management of departmental record keeping and databases.
Activities:
- Management and coordination of project development and execution including development of AFEs and evaluation of project’s economics.
- Oversee management of change (MOC) process.
- Assist in performing root cause analysis’s (RCA’s).
- Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule.
- Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution.
- Manage and forecast project costs.
- Participate in development and administration of capital plan.
- Project management, including cost accountability.
- Collaboration amongst various departments across the site, including operations, maintenance, and support groups.
- Prepares design, drawings & specification documents.
- Prepares bid/request documents, addendums & change orders for procurement phase.
- Direct interface with discipline engineers.
- Coordinate and ensure projects comply with regulatory and code requirements.
- Project closure and accounting interface.
- Support project systems.
- Support ISO efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skill, Capability and Educational Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, with five or more years Civil / Structural experience, OR a B.S Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- 4 + years of experience in Project Management, strongly preferred.
- Engineer in training certificate or professional engineering license preferred.
