The person in the Project Manager II position will manage a portfolio of various type projects in various stages of the lifecycle of Development. The PM II will be under the general direction of a Manager, Project Management and be accountable for managing all aspects of their projects to ensure all success factors are met, including but not limited to scope, cost, schedule, compliance, environmental, safety, communications, security, and quality. This person must be able to collaborate well with all the stakeholders of the project to develop a high-quality product for hand-off to the Execution team.
The PM II must understand the Project Development process, communicate well, lead effective meetings by establishing a clear objective and driving the agenda, understand business processes, and be competent in MS Office tools.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 9 years of project management experience
2. Preferred Qualifications: Masters - business (MBA), project management, or equivalent. Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMP or CAPM Certification; CMII/Construction Certifications; Professional Engineer License.
3. Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls. Experience in utility industry.
