Salary:

Stonebrook Exterior is seeking a meticulous and experienced Commercial and Residential Roofing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and preparing detailed cost information to ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the construction process. They will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to coordinate and oversee the bid process. Key Responsibilities:

• Visit multiple job sites to conduct roof surveys, assess client requirements, take measurements, photos, and collect necessary data.
• Estimate and bid potential jobs accurately and competitively.
• Analyze proposals, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to thoroughly understand project requirements.
• Prepare material quotes, fabrication labor, construction labor requirements, project pricing, and bid abstracts.
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Consult with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates, resolving any issues that may arise.
• Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Meet with clients to provide recommendations, address requirements, resolve issues, and discuss project plans.
• Work closely with Sales Managers, Project Managers, and Roofing Labor Contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Utilize key technologies such as Microsoft Office, Sage Intact, ProCore, Stack, OnscreenTake, and others.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of estimating experience in Commercial and Residential Roofing required.
• Strong comprehensive knowledgebase of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines, cost control systems, data analysis, and strategic planning.
• Ability to estimate a variety of projects/contracts under strict deadlines.
• Ability to manage and oversee group work as it relates to projects.
• Advanced mathematical abilities and proficiency in using a 10-key calculator.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, talk or hear.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Working Environment:

• Exposed to indoor conditions.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
