Project Coordinator

We're seeking a highly qualified project coordinator to help us maintain our position as a leader in the Steam industry. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong communication, and progress-tracking skills. The project coordinator will also prepare and present regular updates to relevant management channels, ensuring that we meet our customers' demands satisfactorily.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage post-order backlog to meet business and customer expectations, and communicate to relevant stakeholders (60%)
  • Schedule and host new order review meetings (30%)
  • Develop and present reports on key project milestones and responsibilities (5%)
  • Monitor and improve cross-functional business processes
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Outside Sales, Applications, Product Management, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing
  • Ensure projects are organized and conform to timeline and deliverables requirements
  • Develop and maintain a project performance database tracking progress and milestones
  • Monitor resources, drive project efficiency, and facilitate better communication and organization
  • Report project risks and outcomes, implement mitigation actions, and escalate issues as needed
  • Serve as a communication point between departments, and with external teams
  • Deepen partnerships with customers and suppliers
  • Review PO's to validate terms and conditions, dollar value, OTTR vs OTTC, shipping information, and consistency across documentation
  • Develop proficiency in internal business processes in Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Supply to efficiently contribute to deliverables

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
  • Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus
  • 5+ years of Project Coordinating, Reporting, or Management experience in a manufacturing or comparable industrial environment
  • Customer advocate with high commercial aptitude.
  • Problem solver who can effectively manage projects.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Well-organized communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, i.e. (Engineering, Supply, etc.).
  • Prove success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in current Microsoft Office programs, presentation and graphics, PDF, Salesforce CRM, and ERP software.
  • Familiarity with Lean concepts and process improvement tools.
