Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Production Supervisor I to join our team! The role involves managing production line employees, ensuring their safety and the production of a quality product that meets or exceeds company standards, while managing cost effectiveness. Responsibilities include supervising, motivating, and providing ongoing direction to production line personnel; enforcing policies and procedures for safety; relieving employees when necessary; shutting down production lines when necessary; preparing start-up procedures; setting up equipment; checking production schedules; setting production codes; examining products for daily runs; scheduling employee hours and breaks; ensuring workstation readiness; managing raw materials; supervising flavor changes and hook-ups; monitoring machinery operation; recording meter readings and downtime; learning operation of all production line equipment and forklift; communicating with previous shift superintendent; consulting with Maintenance Mechanics and Quality Control Department; and other duties as assigned. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s or Associate’s preferred), 3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing or related field, OSHA and production standards experience, attention to detail, organization, prioritization, problem solving, communication skills, computer proficiency, numerical aptitude, and accounting and P&L spreadsheet experience.
