ABOUT THE POSITION

Mersino is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as our Production Scheduler based out of our Davison, MI Branch Location. The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, forecasting and scheduling units to best utilize our efficiencies while meeting and/or exceeding our customers' expectations. You will also be creating, processing and closing the production orders for all sales, assemblies and fabrication production orders. Want to be part of our team? Don’t wait, apply today!

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Determine production lead times
• Process OIS customer orders
• Maintain all production orders and dates
• Conduct routine production meetings
• Monitor all production orders for missing parts
• Plan and maintain forecasts and be able to plan labor needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production planning
• 2+ years of experience in production scheduling
• Knowledge of supply chain management
• Organizational skills in handling multiple projects
• Proficient in PC software applications

Specific Expectations

• Proficiency in excel
• Excellent verbal communication skills (listening and speaking)
• The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment
