Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to manage production schedules and ensure that production timelines align with company goals. In this role, you will develop, coordinate, and maintain daily and weekly schedules, optimizing workflow to meet deadlines and supporting key production objectives. Your coordination skills will be critical in helping streamline operations and maintaining smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Review: Assess open sales orders to align production schedules with customer requirements.
  • Material Flow Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of parts to meet production timelines, coordinating closely with warehouse and purchasing teams.
  • ERP Utilization: Use ERP systems to auto-generate and release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for efficient picking and kitting.
  • Schedule Communication: Notify sales teams of any schedule impacts to keep customers informed and engaged.
  • Production Coordination: Expedite manufacturing builds as needed to achieve schedule adherence.
  • Status Reporting: Prepare updates on production progress, customer orders, and materials inventory for cross-functional awareness.
  • Decision-Making: Apply judgment within set procedures to adapt and take appropriate action to support production objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in production scheduling or a related role, with strong organizational and ERP system skills.
  • Skills: Effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks independently and collaboratively.
