Job Description
Are you organized, have an eye for detail, and have experience with digital and offset printing as well as bindery? We would love to talk to you about bringing your exceptional skills to work for us as our Printing Production Assistant. We are fast paced and work hard but also know how to have a good laugh and work as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the set up and operation of printing equipment such as digital presses and bindery equipment
- Ensure all printing orders are completed accurately and according to client specifications
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and report any malfunctions or issues to the production manager
- Keep detailed records of materials used, production times, and any issues encountered during the printing process
- Assist with quality control checks and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Continuously strive to improve productivity and efficiency in the printing process
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Graphic Design experience is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of printing production experience
- Proficient in operating digital presses, offset presses, and bindery equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of printing materials, processes, and techniques is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
