The Production Assistant facilitates the production process through cross functional partnerships with Merchandising, Design, Technical Design, and vendor partners. The Production Assistant supports the supply chain management of the calendar from development to bulk shipment.
Responsibilities: Manage submit approval process according to time and action schedule, including follow up on outstanding submits and sending approvals to vendor partners via email correspondence.
Maintain Work in Progress (WIP) reports, follow up with vendors weekly on outstanding submits/issues, and determine appropriate actions to take.
Communicate daily with vendors and internal cross functional teams throughout the product development and production process, in order to ensure product is shipping on time and to correct location(s). Address any issues that arise and identify solutions.
Manage all sample tracking charts- Buy samples, Ad sample, TOP, etc
Size breaks distribution to Vendors and PO information entry to the system.
Attending meetings with CFT and making notes/communicating updates to Vendors.
Tech packs uploads in PLM
Basic understanding of the product development and approval process
Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
Flexible, organized, detail oriented team player
Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel
Travel may be required, based on business needs.
Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level
Ability to carrying equipment, moving boxes/samples, etc.
