The Product Manager at Brightscout has a pivotal role in driving the success of our clients' products. This position is essential because it ensures that our client's product offerings align with market needs and expectations, contributing to our reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality solutions. As a Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between our clients' business objectives and technical execution, ensuring that their products not only meet but exceed industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for client projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including client stakeholders, designers, developers, marketers, and sales to deliver high-quality products.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats for clients.
  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements from clients.
  • Develop detailed product specifications and requirements documents for client projects.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond for client products.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for client deliverables.
  • Monitor product performance and iterate on product features based on user feedback and data analysis.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all product-related queries and communications with clients.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members working on client projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management in B2B technology.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Trello, and Notion.
  • Proficiency in collaboration and whitebarding tools like Figjam or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
