Job Description
The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) applies cutting-edge technology to operating a reliable electricity system, managing competitive markets for wholesale electricity, and planning for the Empire State's energy future. The NYISO invites applications for a full-time intern on our Product and Project Management team.
This intern will be responsible for assisting in technology evaluation for the product and project management group. Currently, many processes rely on manual actions and technologies that do not have collaboration functionality. The intern will be responsible for evaluating technology that NYISO already knows and determine whether manual workflows could be automated and efficiencies could be gained. Based on their evaluation, if automation can be utilized, this intern will have the opportunity to prototype automation of Dashboard templates and Financial Tracking Reports to review with the Product Management team.
Qualifications include:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program focused in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Experience with M365, MS Project, and Power BI a plus
