Job Title: Pre- Litigation Associate Attorney
Pay Range: $100K- $160K Plus Bonus
Type of Position: Full Time
Location: Fully Remote and Hybrid Positions Available
Job Description: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Draft the petition for minor's compromise and related documents
- File completed documents
- Work within a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Pay strong attention to details in drafting court documents
- Compile all possible information, evidence and documentation, including medical records and bills, loss of earnings documentation and change in lifestyle information, that will help the legal department build a case
- Draft demand packages to insurance companies
- Negotiate claims
- Follow up with clients
- Appear in front of a judge for hearings
- Conduct Mediations
Qualifications: - Candidate has a JD and is admitted to the California bar
- Prior experience in personal injury a plus
- Very well organized
- Good follow-up
- Strong communication skills
