Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Practice Nurse LPN or CMA to join the Practice Management team at Sampson Orthopedic Group!
Description:
The selected candidate will assist in the management of patient care provided in the practice and coordinate patient flow to ensures care is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently. Additional responsibilities include interviewing patients and taking medical history, giving injections, completing lab and x-ray requests, keeping charts current and screens calls within the practice/provider's guidelines. Will also administer prescribed medications and perform simple treatment as directed by the provider. The Practice Nurse duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards. Transitions between practices and performs other duties, as needed.
