Powder Coat Painter

Company Name: Entech Staffing is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for a company located in Troy, MI.

Hours: 5:30am-2:00pm

Pay Rate: $20 - 24/hr.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of powder coating techniques and procedures, and be able to produce high-quality finishes consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
• Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray guns or automated equipment.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Coating Curing: Transfer coated components to curing ovens and monitor the curing process to achieve the desired coating adhesion and finish.
• Maintain and clean powder coating equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in powder coating or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
