Practice Details
Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, ND, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join its growing team of physicians and nurse practitioners working in the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.
Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Brand new Sanford Medical Center houses an 8 bed PICU, with additional flex beds if needed. Floor shared with 20-24 bed pediatric unit, and 40-bed Level IV NICU.
Department consists of 8 pediatric hospitalists and 2 nurse practitioners
Hospitalist is primary on all patients including nursery coverage (with the exception of hem/onc service)
Census ranges from 15-30 patients, divided amongst 2 teams
Largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in the region
Sanford Health Fargo is a Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program (PSLRP) eligible site.
Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science teaching medical students, family medicine and pediatric residents
