Job Description
CareSouth Carolina’s Physician Assistant works as part of the provider team performing a variety of direct patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation/monitoring for patients of all ages, birth to death. This specific position will have a large panel of pediatric patients. The PA may also perform specialty services, after training, credentialing and certification. The PA collaborates with clinical and other staff to achieve improved patient care & outcomes during the medical visit. It will require constant collaboration and constant efforts to improve the patient experience by providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This will involve participation in training, team meetings, and huddles to facilitate the delivery of patient-centered care. This will also involve close collaboration with facilities outside of CSC for referral services when patients need these services.
