Role Description

Grand Caliber is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Photo Retoucher/Editor with a photography background to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role based in Dallas, TX. You’ll be responsible for editing our product photography in a high-paced environment in both Photoshop and Lightroom. You will also be responsible for capturing high-quality images of luxury timepieces that meet our brand’s visual standards. Responsibilities

  • Adobe Lightroom: Advanced knowledge with the ability to edit colors, brightness, and textures. You need to be familiar with masking, invert masks, luminance range, color range, radial gradient, and object selection, along with being comfortable in the software.
  • Adobe Photoshop: Advanced knowledge of the software, being comfortable using advanced techniques. You must be familiar with the remove tool, Camera Raw filter, layer duplication, masking, object selection, and a nice bonus would be the dust and scratch filter.
  • Product Photography: Capture high-resolution images of luxury watches in our in-house studio, showcasing each item’s unique features and quality. You will receive professional training in-house to meet company standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting.
  • Workflow Management: Manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing assets on time.
  • Quality Control: Review and ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards in all product images, making adjustments as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve the quality and impact of visual content.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Photography or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of professional photo editing and retouching experience. Experience in photography is a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with creative peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Professional experience with Canon camera systems and related equipment is a plus
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and their application in photography.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your retouching and photography skills. We want to see that you are capable in Photoshop and Lightroom (required).
